This is one of the more demanding day hikes available out of McCarthy and involves serious route finding and bushwhacking to reach the summit. Care must be taken on slopes that are often very steep with loose rock. Terrific veiws of the whole valley from the sumitt. This will take a full day so get an early start. Best to do the hike in the early or late season when there are no bugs and less vegetation on the lower slopes.
